Who am i?
Chris Saurdal
Having an interest in film, I decided to move to Australia to study film and television in 2016. I graduated in 2018 with a Bachelor in Screen Media Production and a few months later I was awarded the Lord Puttnam Scholarship by Lord David Puttnam, an Oscar- and Emmy winning film producer, to undertake a Masters in film.
Throughout my time in Australia I have worked on numerous projects creating a vast variety of stories and helping charities and non-profit organisations to grow substantially.
Through my fictional work I have had films in the festival circuit and won awards such as “best film” and “audience recognition”

Achievements
- Helped the charity Rural Aid grow from a being small Brisbane based organisation to being nation wide.
- Won “Best film under three minutes” at the Oniros January selection.
- Awarded the “Lord Puttnam” Scholarship for Producing
- Have been to South by Southwest in Austin, Texas, Berlinale in Berlin and Screen forever in Melbourne.
My Core Values
Respect – On a set there is nothing more important than respect. All your values and ideals will follow once you respect the people you work with. If you don’t respect your co-worker other values like teamwork and integrity can, unintentionally, get lost.
Teamwork – is all about knowing and working well together. Taking criticism as great feedback, listening when things are suggested, promote other people to speak up and inspire and maintain relationships.
Integrity – Taking responsibility for your own actions. Owning up to mistakes but also take pride in ones own work.
